Mnemba Island is a luxurious, secluded haven located off the northeast coast of Zanzibar, managed by &Beyond, a premier safari company. This island is encircled by a triangular-shaped reef, which is part of the Marine Protected Area, offering exquisite scuba diving opportunities, vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and breathtaking ocean vistas.
THIS IS HOW YOU STAY!
The &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge offers an unparalleled level of luxury for discerning guests with a generous budget. This exclusive retreat features beautifully designed rustic-chic bandas situated along the beach. With only twelve bandas available, the lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 guests, including two family bandas connected by a walkway. Each banda provides stunning views of the pristine sandy beach, framed by the surrounding Casuarina pine forest, allowing you to unwind on your private stretch of shoreline.
From the dining and bar area, guests can enjoy breathtaking vistas of the beach and the nearby island of Zanzibar. Each banda is assigned a dedicated private butler, who will delight you with a leisurely breakfast of tropical fruits, freshly squeezed juice, and Tanzanian coffee served on your beachfront veranda. For those wishing to toast the magnificent sunset, fresh sushi and chilled champagne can be discreetly delivered to your beach loungers. Alternatively, a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach can be arranged. The lodge also offers yoga sessions, massages, and a variety of water sports activities to enhance your stay.
A RICH VARIETY OF MARINE LIFE.
You may occasionally spot larger ocean species in this area, including three types of dolphins, humpback whales (from July to September), and whale sharks. Additionally, the turtle nesting season occurs between February and March, with nests hatching right on the beach!
